Prayer & Praise Monday – October 8, 2012

Thanks for joining us here today! If you are new to Throne of Grace, we have a regular feature called “Prayer & Praise Monday”. We all need reminders and encouragement to pray, and we like to start off our week kneeling before the Throne of God.

We would love for you to join us in praying and praising for the following:

• Praise God that the Garibaldi family has enjoyed a week of good health and no one is currently on antibiotics! 🙂 Having those times of sickness helps us to appreciate the many days of good health that the Lord gives us.

• Since we’ve been to the doctor 10 times in the past month (that averages out to 1 visit every 3 days!), the wonderful doctors and nurses who give so much of themselves to serve others have been on our hearts.  Pray for those in the medical profession! It is often a thankless job and one that sometimes comes at great personal sacrifice. Thank the Lord for the medical staff that touches your life and pray that He would be their source of strength, energy, and compassion as they serve. Think about how you might bring Truth or encouragement to a doctor or nurse that you know.

• Please continue to keep Jacob and his mom, Lori, in your prayers. Jacob is the high school student currently battling Hodgkin’s Disease. He has completed his 2nd round of chemo. I’ll try to get an update this week and provide more info next week. Keep praying for strength and pray that God could be glorified through a miraculous healing!

•Please continue to pray with us that the words on this blog would be the Lord’s words and not ours. Pray that He would multiply what little we have to offer to bring glory to His Name!

Please let us know if you are joining us in prayer this week by leaving a comment below. Also, if you have a prayer request or a praise report you’d like us to share with our readers next week, please let us know by leaving a comment or by emailing us at: info[at]throneofgrace[dot]com. It would be a joy to pray with you!

Have a great week!

Blessings in Christ,
