Prayer & Praise Monday – August 20, 2012

Happy Monday, Everyone! Thank you for joining us before the Throne today. Here are a few thoughts to guide your prayers today:

• Thank the Lord today for the little reminders that He is near. Look for His mercies that are new every morning. A new sunrise…a full refrigerator…a car that starts…forgiveness for the failures of yesterday…the list is endless when we seek His perspective to see them!

• Please continue to pray for Tami. She has been in bed for over a week now with back pain! She is improving but pray that God will continue to give her patience and sustain her through this challenging time. Please pray for healing to progress quickly!

• High school graduates and their families have been on my heart this week. Pray for those you know that have just graduated and will be heading to college soon. Pray for them by name that the Lord will provide Christian fellowship, provide a hedge of protection to surround them, and give them wisdom and discernment to make right choices. Pray for the parents of these graduates as they deal with their loss and face the new challenge of parenting a grown child. I’m having a hard enough time sending my baby off to Junior Kindergarten this year!

Thanks for praying with us! Please leave a comment to let us know how you are praying this week and be sure to let us know if there is a way we can be praying for you. Have a great week!
