If you’ve read the story behind Throne of Grace here, then you know that Molly never set out to be an entrepreneur. She doesn’t consider herself to be business-minded at all, yet clearly the Lord has been leading and equipping her along the road that has led her to this place.
Her first business was selling cinnamon toothpicks at 8 years old and then she went on to publish a newspaper when her elementary school didn’t have one (on a typewriter, no less!). She has always enjoyed finding creative ways to be a blessing to others – from Christmas gift-wrapping for church families to making flip calendars to hand out as gifts to family and friends.
Passions: Prayer, Bible study, elementary teaching, keeping moms at home, adoption, supporting military families
Favorites: Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, pulled pork sandwiches, San Luis Obispo, polka dots, navy blue and yellow.
Tami Harrison is first and foremost a believer in Jesus Christ. She is also a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Kyle. After college, Tami began a career in the video game industry as a sound designer and voice over editor.
Thirteen years later, she decided she was ready for a change. Shortly thereafter, Molly offered her the opportunity to work for Throne of Grace, and she jumped at the chance to flex some of her crafty creative muscle on projects dedicated to bringing people the Word of God.Tami and Kyle serve their church as part of the audio/video team along with Molly’s husband, Kevin.
In her spare time, Tami loves cooking and baking – specifically developing lightened up versions of baked goods and yummy comfort foods, and sharing them with friends and family.
Deborah Townsend describes herself as a woman saved by grace alone. “Deb” is married to an amazing man, Ray, who makes her want to love God more each day and she finds herself spending the day trying to keep up with her boy, Cole.
In a typical morning, one might find her kitchen table covered with piles of home-school workbooks, half-completed Throne of Grace journal covers, breakfast leftovers and action hero figures. Standing close by is Deb, most likely enamored by something homemade – either by herself or someone else. In fact, a trip through her house is guaranteed to please as every room showcases creativity and craftiness – attributes that make Deb so valuable to Throne of Grace!
Deb has been with Throne of Grace since 2010 and has truly been a blessing. She is responsible for new designs and coordinating table displays for boutiques (her favorite part!), and says she feels spoiled getting to do the things she loves and hanging out with Molly and Tami at the same time!
