I’ve been shopping the Queen Bee Market for more than two years now. I’ve attended just to shop and I’ve attended several times to help my sister, Emmy, sell her personalized planners with Much Ado About You. But I have to be honest, I’ve always been quite intimidated by the thought of attending Queen Bee as a vendor. I mean, around these parts, Queen Bee is BIGTIME! The level of creativity and marketing genius present in one room is humbling, for sure.
So for Throne of Grace to have finally reached the point where selling at the Queen Bee Market was a reality was super exciting for me! Not only that, but we were BUSY – and did well! Praise God!
In addition to getting to meet face-to-face with our fabulous customers, boutiques offer wonderful opportunities to encourage and be encouraged as we talk with other vendors, share ideas, and swap stories.
One of the dearest new friends we met at Queen Bee is Janis Hughes of Grace Abounding.
My mom says Janis and I are kindred spirits. I think we were both meant to live in another era! We have a common love for the Lord and a love for antiques. Just look at her amazing display!
As I browsed through her exquisite necklaces and bracelets, I felt like I was pouring over my great-grandma’s dresser.
Janis has used a combination of old family photos and antique photos she has stumbled upon as the cards to display her works of art. Her special packaging makes each piece feel priceless!
Check out Grace Abounding HERE. You’ll love the sweet hand-stamped messages on Janis’ jewelry and even more, you’ll love the heart behind her work!
Tomorrow we’ll have Part 2 of our Queen Bee Recap with more fantastic vendors…
